how it works

A simple, web-based control panel allows you to upload news, calendar events, photographs, homework and links to useful resources. All the information parents really need to know. There are also critical alerts for news that just can't wait.

The control panel requires no technical knowledge and there is a comprehensive online help system if you get stuck. Integrated workflow allows you to delegate responsibility to multiple teachers whilst still tightly controlling what they can publish.

Parents can then customise the communication so that they receive only news that is directly relevant to them.

Now send information direct to parents' computers.

The desktop communicator is a lightweight application that runs on every parent's computer. Information is automatically updated every time the school adds new content, even when the communicator is not currently running. The Communicator launches every morning, so parents see your school news at least once a day.

And to their phones for when they're on the move.

The School Communicator is also available on mobile phone. So no matter where your parents are, they're never out of touch. We offer custom mobile applications for iPhone, Android and BlackBerry. And for everyone else there’s our mobi site, accessible by virtually any internet enabled phone.

And for everyone else there's email.

A weekly newsletter is automatically sent to all parents not using the desktop communicator. It provides a quick & convenient snapshot of all the information they really need to know - news from the previous week and upcoming events for the week ahead. You can also send out ad hoc emails if you have a special announcement.

Plus, we integrate with your website and your social media.

The school communicator offers one-click integration with Facebook and Twitter, cut & paste widgets to add news and calendar events to your school website, and even web services for complete website integration.

We even do print.

For parents that cannot access the information any other way, there's even the option of automatically generating a weekly printed newsletter - with exactly the same content as the desktop communicator.
